Mate definitely get it lowered 60mm!!
Mine is lowered 60mm on 16's and it looks so sweet
Mines needs a wee bit of work on the passenger rear side but its easy enough stuff, just taking bolts out the tops of the arches etc.

Here's a few pics of mine (newer ones towards the end)

does shawboy use his car 4 everyday use...just thinking of the road around the area where troublesome lives -pot hole, speed bumper, uneven road etc.
yeah 60mm would be g8 but is it gonna be practical.

if your going to be 3,4 or 5 people up quite alot then i would go for the 40mm, thats what i had first and it only scrubbed a little bit, but i was not happy with the look and so got the 60mm!!! looks unbelievably better but needed a fair bit of arch work but even with it it still scubs and with 3 or 4 up plus weight of install it scrubs a hell of alot!!!
i use mine every day but it is only usually me and 1 other person!!!!!
It aint the most practical decision in the world to go for 60mm but hey at least you can tell your mates to piss off and get their own car!!!

Austin racer- aint really sure what ur getting at here, u will of course have to change ur suspension if u lower ur car 60mm, thats what lowering is...is that what u want to know? U will probably get away with arch work if u chose a wheel with a corsa friendly offset, for example et49.

They mean you'll have to change the dampers aswell as the springs for 60mm drop.

I'm down 60mm on et49 15" monzas.

Get scrubbin at the front with passenger but back full it doesnt scrub at all. Took front arch bolts out but rear was fine.

This is around 50mm and I wanna raise it a bit. It's not a great ride and the roads round here are really bumpy and full of speed bumps. 16" ET45 with 195.45.16 rubber (Yoko's).

Um, doesn't rub, but that's cos I've got no rear arches under the plastic.... If I carry rear passengers too I can quite easily bottom out the shocks Remember it's that low with no-one in it!

It's just the ride that pisses me off.... and I have to drive so slowly onto my drive.
