That video doesnt actually show them fitting the tyre using a tyre machine lol!
If you can fit a modern tyre on rim without using a tyre machine you are either super human or gifted by the gods!

For all the hassle it probably is you're better off taking it somewhere and getting it done properly for a few quid. Once the tyre is on it'l still need balancing anyway.

I tried removing one once, i almost died from the fumes, and once that i had inhaled the fumes, i got covered in bits of flying rubber (angle grinder)

Plus, it takes less than 5 minutes to take a tyre off and put a new one on using a machine.

i think it's lots of sweat with tyre irons and then scuffing up your rims for the layman, but these guys make it look quite easy:

you can drop a car off a jack onto a mounted tyre to break the bead of it apparently. Never tried myself.

low profile car tires with no machine are impossible. But i do motorcycle tires with a bead breaker and levers.

If you're pumping it up and your finger gets inbetween the tyre and the inside of the rim it'l probably take your finger tip off, they pop with some force.

Changing a tyre isn;t difficult,
The hardest part would be to break the bead, nigh on impossible without a bead breaker,
But a large hammer and some angle iron will help.
I've had to chage runflats with levers before, but I had a bead breaker, couldnt use the tyre machine in the van as runflat are much more robust and they'll snap the machine head.

Jesse , i used to cut them off quite often with a stihl saw when they came in on scrap rims

it is possible to remove a tyre, involves a lever with a piece of metal which slides, put in place and bang the slider down to break the bead round the tyre than use tyre levers with soapy water like removing a bike tyre to get off, though is a lot of hassles as people have said and is a million times easier with a machine
