You can buy my subs and amp for £100 if you like?

2 x 10'' JL Audio W0's in a sealed carpeted box (fits in Corsa boot) and a Kenwood KAC-816 Mono block amp.

i very much doubt a setup like this will be powering the speakers properly, either underpowering the sub or overpowering the rest.
you want to look at getting a decent 12" sub and mono amp suited to it and some comps with a 2 channel suited to it. in a car the size of a corsa this will be more than adequate and will sound the best

All these systems sound pretty wank so far! lol

Whats your budget?

I'd get some Hertz Energy front components (or hertz dieci if you wanna spend less), a decent but not too expensive JBL 4 channel amp (they actually give out their power ratings!), 12" sub in a custom vented enclosure (google bass factory UK, he will make one to your subs spec.. tune it to about 33Hz and you're on to a winner, about 40 quid for the box - will get more volume with it being vented).

Sub wise... dunno, on a budget JBL GT5's are good, depends on your budget really.

Alpine speakers really are gash, I've had plenty! lol

If you wanna do it cheap and aint too arsed about MASSIVE volume, then the Hertz Dieci speakers I mentioned are designed to be ran off head unit power.. Very efficient speakers, may be loud enough for your needs. If you have a head unit with high pass filters, set them to about 80Hz and they'll probably surprise you volume wise.

Then just a nice little monoblock or 2 channel amp around 250-300w RMS in your boot and a well matched sub in a vented box, plenty loud enough for general music listening.

I've got a Pioneer HU, Pioneer components (not too bad but heard better, they were only 45 quid though), JBL GT5 12" sub in a 1.8 cubic feet vented enclosure tuned to 33Hz (spot on for my tastes - dubstep, drum and bass etc), JBL GTO 75.2 amp about 290w RMS for the sub but not turned up that high as speakers are only currently ran off the head unit.

Sounds alright for the money

Tis alright, look at their sister brand "coustic" if you wanna save some money on the components side of things, really quite good for the cash, so quite good if you can find a dealer lol

I've got coustic front comps, they are good but you should look at the Hertz DSK range, I had those in my Corsa and they were fantastic.

What budget have you got?
