Dave I would delay it by a week as the majority of your regulars are in Germany that weekend

I'd delay it two weeks, PVS afterwards as well.

You're having a giraffe I can see if i can change it tomorrow, but only if there's an exceedingly good chance that more people will come. I'm not going to change it for people who aren't even going to come.

I expect that'd be fine mate, the guys that work there would be best to answer that though tbh.
If I change the date then I can ask at the same time.

seriously? your unlikely to get huge gains over "swapping" ecu's specially as it would need mapping anyway

Cool Lee, just find out for now in case the date changes. It probably won't as we have a good amount of interest already and a few guaranteed people coming.
I was thinking that too about having a chipped ECU

ah well why would you think i wanna get a "huge gain" out of it.....
I got an ecu with a "chip" and one without and i actually want to see which one makes my car run better! Tbh i don't think there will be a different but if i got the chance why not check!
but thanks

if it all works out then fair play, i would have said its unlikely to get big gains from a "chipped ecu" and why not run that ecu anyway?
edit - fair enough thats your call at the end of the day, i thought you were talking about plugging random ecu's in to see which was quickest

why would you say that?
and he already said he wants to see if the ecu makes any difference

theres not alot of gain out of it true but i never said i was looking for big gains (you presume i'm some guy who thinks it will gain 100hp from a chip)! I do use the "chipped" one at present but for all i know the other one might have smooth power delivery and be better for my engine!

ah right i see, your running an xe i just noticed so im intrested in the chip and delivery anyway so im all ears, apologies i thought you were some 12 year old who wanted to get +5 bhpz from a different ecu i would have thought the ecu would need to process and store data besides and if its not been activated its unlikely to be able to do that before going straight onto the RR anyway so will probably run like a bag of beans anyway. why not do it on 2 different days to allow the ecu to process and store some info through the rev range,
