Micras are acutally quite fast. Had Courty 900cc one off the speedo nearly.
He had a 1.0litre 16v C car. Had 100mph in 3rd out of it. Mine only does 101mph in 4th and its a 1.4 16v!!!!!!
Damn close ratio box's

No its not a right off, god knows how when it was that much damage, its a t reg wortrh just over £5k, well firstly i ahd to take of the alloys, exhaust and induction kit as they never knew about them, it was left with no exhaust just said it got crumpled in the crash( aye right ) took out the sounds, just left in the leather, alarm, windows (tinted) and springs and hope they dont say anything, the insurance guys have not seen it yet anyway and the garage have already took off the seats, up on a jig so u cant see its lowered and the winows are out so they wont notice know!
any way it needs:
jiggeed ( back end crumpled)
new back lights
bumper
both quater panels
boot, badges etc
and new boot floor!
and new exhaust, haha (cat included)
plus points
sparaying badges black as i wanted
there was already small nigily dents (stone chips) on both quater panels and boot.
scuff on back bumper
they are also taking mount for tow bar off that was there when i got it and i couldni be arsed taking it off!
and i just found out they are resparying nearly the full car

f it needs jigging you may as well get rid - it will only weaken the chassis more and Saxos aint exactly the strongest motors on the road are they - i should get rid and start again....it will be a liability forever, my mates been through the same, trust me.

it is not needing jigged that much its only the bit that runs along the bot that is slightly bent ( crumpled was maybe a bit strong a word) so its not too bad, but i know what u mean, its not up to me anyway its the insurance that decide. and i did not want to lose my brakes, windows leather, ice wires etc..
I wanted the badges sprayed black to match the car, whick i think looks good as i have seen it done b4, u cant take the badges of without flling the holes , which is too much hasell unless ur getting other things smoothed, ie boot smoothed

I had a 1.0 Micra as a courtesy car years ago and they are fun for 1 liters. Try removing the panel filter for a while and hear the roar they make for wee cars. Also they are great for handbraking, so light at the rear.
