Got round to watching both films over the weekend, and I thought both were alright. Kidulthood is the better of the two I think. Adulthood was a bit boring. Also why is Danny Dyer in Adulthood? I was hoping he'd get his ass handed to him, but no, nothing. In it for about 2 scenes then thats it. Pointless.
Both fims did kind of annoy me though. I fucking hate the way they all speak. 'Yeh blud, naaaa man, knaa wha' I meen blud, yeh innit bruv'. And all I kept seeing in every 'blud' was the dickheads I went to school with who would square up to anyone that looked at them funny.
That Noel Clarke fella is a talented bloke though.

They are ok but nothing spectacular. Agree that kidulthood is easily better though

I think they're both good, Kidulthood was a good introduction, Adulthood went onto show the consequences of the first films actions.
Accurate representation of youth in that area, my mate comes from Wembley and he understands all the slang shit

Adulthood would have been better if Jay had killed sam and ended up in prison

Jay is the worst for it. The guy that plays him must be a blinding actor. That, or very annoying in real life too.

Yeah to echo whats been said before that is how they talk and it is a brilliant representation of the culture of that area.
I have actually started to learn the whole 'London street language' through work

Adam Deacon who plays Jay is also a talented lyricist/rapper, search on youtube for when he was on westwoods show, amazing.

Yea most of that was out of his songs on the adulthood soundtrack though, he didn't just make it up on the spot
