The same usual story, been a member on here for a while so thought i'd finally make a project.
Anyway, the main reason is so that people can put a name to a car and then hopefully a face at PVS.
Right then on with the project, I started with a 1.0 12v that came to an untimely demise when a 'friend' of mine ran into the back of me causing a 3 car pile up
This then brought round the new car in question,
1.4 16v sport in arden blue again (best colour)
Lowered 60mm on g-max springs and shocks
2.0l brakes
4" jap can backbox and straight through centre pipe
It came with tigra wheels aswell but I changed them for my league wheels don't know what I thinking, anyway pics:
April 2008
While it was waiting on the drive to be insured I painted the engine cover
Finally got it on the road so gave her a good wash and went up Epsom downs for some photo's with a mate
After this I lost interest with the car over the next few months, it went back to standard exhaust system and standard suspension until PVS08 when I thought i'd start again.
I got some pressed plates and a de-badged grille
Before:
After:
Then came painting of the arches and bumper tops
Prep:
Paint:
While the bumpers and arches were off it left my car looking like this
Back on the car
A couple months later finally had some money so got myself a Bilstein B10 kit lowers 50mm and a Sportex 3" outwardly rolled back box
Sorry for crap pics
Next on the list was lights, got a set smoked DEPO's and a set of smoked MHW's
And fitted
Aswell as my M25 'Ring sticker
Stayed like this for a while so just kept cleaning her and taking pictures
I'm such a pic whore
I then finally decided to sort the wheel situation out and got myself some gloss black cesaro's
Unfortunately got no pics of them fitted but will soon, along with my -80mm rear springs (got some -100s sitting around aswell just incase) and CS stickers.
Right thats it for now, cheers for having the endurance if you read all the way through it, all opinions and comments will be welcomed

Looking good, I have a 1 litre and bored already, I want either a 1.4 sport or a 1.6 sport, but I am going to wait untill I have a years no claims before I do this.
Love your 1.4 sport though.

I had no no claims when I got my sport, cost me an arm and a leg aswell as my other arm and leg to insure so it's always a good ide to get some no claims built up.
Cheers for the comment matey

I like those wheels on it, probably better than it's going to look on the cesaros
Kinda make the car different from the rest

I can't win on here, I get slated for the old wheels and now people prefer them, ah well cesaro's is what I wanted for a long so now that I found and could afford some i'm just going to enjoy them you never know things may (and probably will) change in the future

i reckon your car with your old alloys done in silver or gun metal grey would look really nice and be different from others!

Right then not really an update just some stuff I couldn't be bothered to add in last night.
The car hasn't always been good to me there has been many trials and tribulations along the way.
To start with before it was even on the road the gear linkage came apart so that was a day of me and my mate fiddling around trying to line it up and get it back into place, all my gears were one place to the left, e.g. 1st was where reverse should be, 3rd was where 1st should be etc etc.
Fixed that then when it was out on the road the handbrake cable snapped, the rear wheel bearing went which super heated my stub axle welding the 2 together so was all new bearing, stub axle and drums
That was all until the back box fell off one day while giving it some beans up a hill luckily no one was behind me. This prompted me to sort the system out, went down to Merit for some stanard kit only to find the centre pipe is bodge welded onto the CAT so new one of them aswell
Then came the time to take the rear bumper off, one of the previous owners had used an aluminium nut and bolt to hold the rear nearside mudflaps on which seemed to be be done up tighter than a ducks butt so out came the angle gringer with a little help from my brother
it over the top for one bolt but meh, it did the job
All was then fine til I came to change the rear lights where I find someone has used bloody bathroom sealant to attacht them
Which lead me too removing the rear lights like so
But fortunately everything is now running fine (touch wood), bodywork still needs some work but all in good time.
Oh the fun of cars
Anyway, end of a small rant

Forgot to add before PVS I fitted my -80mm rear springs which I think makes the car look more level.
Got a picture of spring size comparison
-100mm spring, -50mm Bilstein springs and standard srping
Anyway, I washed the car after PVS and took some pictures today while the weather wasn't too bad, so without further a do here's the pictures
Also one of the family stickers
Hope you like, also ordered a few small extras but you'll have to wait for the updates

Right then small update, I finally found a halfrds with a 22mm blanking grommet so got that and removed my rear wiper. Also got myself some bonnet lifters because one of the previous owners had had them and left the mounting points so I thought I might aswell uset them
Anyway here's a couple of pics from a random car park
Also the other day my friend that bought my old alloys off came round for a quick car wash then we were up to Epsom downs for some photos:
My car looking around -110mm there thanks to a little help from friends
Right that's all for now
