Me & my girlfriend have been together nearly 3years now.. We split up recently, but talked and made it back up.
Whilst we were split up i got a drunken phonecall off her at silly o'clock in the morning, talking alright, then just started saying she hated me & she was shagging somone else.. Didn't let it effect me, but the thought is now playing on my head.

We're back together, but i'm not sure if its what i want, i mean i love her to pieces, but the petty arguements are getting silly. People have asked me if i love her etc, i do, alot, but i'm thinking i'm with her just out of habit..

Recently been talking to a friend i used to work with, shes 26, thats a 7 year age difference (not that it bothers me at all) and i'm starting to quite like her, i know she feels the same etc..

Now i'm stuck what to do.. Obviously i'm still with my girlfriend but i'm not sure what do to..

I know it abit sad asking opinions on my love life on here, but its nice to have an un-biased opinion and the views of someone who doesn't know me etc..

I'm sure some of you will have been in the same situation or similar, i'm just asking guys & girls..
What would you do?

Is it a case of you just 'love' you current girlfriend, or are you 'in love' with her? There is a difference and that should give you the answer.

I'd get rid for that alone.

If you think you're only with her for convenience then something is definately not right!

Seems like both you and Nathy have already made the decision but if you're just waiting for another argument why not just do it now?

Ive been in this situation twice now, hung onto it in the first one until there was nothin left to fight for, second one I called it a day when it started getting to the point where we were having petty arguments, not really doing anything together, I left her with the intention of stayin single for a bit, met a girl a week later, thought it was just going to be a little fling but been with her about 16 months now and its the best move I made, shes boss. So in my experience, I'd call it a day when it starts becoming a bad/convenience relationship.

Tbh, I'd tell her to GTF for her "spiteful" comment. Get with the 26 year old, take pics/vids and send them to the artist now known as the ex.

Sounds like you are with her out of habit.

Sack her off, move on and be single for a bit. If you like this bird from work keep is casual and dont rush into things.

Think its what i'm gonna do.. The bird from work is 7 years older than me, she was bothered at 1st, but since we went for a drink lastnight she seems alright with it now.. Hmm, soon to be single me thinks!
