Can aftermarket throttle bodys such as Dblias be run with the powerbox on a x16xe engine?

Yeah, you have to put them all in series, gives you 167.3bhp!

Do you mean can you enclose a throttle body set up?

Hmmm surely you dont want to enclose TB's
Suppose this might stop rain water filling them up

No they dont, I was being sarcastic, the power box is bolted to the manifold, you wouldnt be able to bolt it to throttle bodies.

Ignore the goons, we all start somewhere...
Dbalis run 2 types of inlet systems. One is like a Mantzel power box, which replaces the inlet manifold plastics with 1 "box" which feeds the 4 inlet chambers. Runs off 1 throttle body.
The other is a more form of "throttle Bodies" where the standard inlet is totally removed and replaced with 4 seperate "throttle bodies". They sell this with a single inlet plenum which connects to an air filter. I can't remember if it uses 4 seperate butterfies/throttle bodies, or if it runs off 1 throttle body, but this kit has seen some bloody good gains, no matter how much I hate it.
Then you have proper throttle bodies, which have seperate throttles for each chamber, this needs an air filter on the road.
You will only need the "inlet box" on the first of these 3.

Yeah but in that case you would just get a proper throttle body set up with standalone management. The advantages of the Dbilas is that its cheap and you dont have to change anything else apart from the inlet!

To be honest if I was just going to throttle body a 1.6 corsa, I would probably go down the Dbilas route myself! Good gains, good price and they look pretty factory!
How do they sound? Like throttle bodies should?

I think Patricks were very muted with sound compared to TB...
But 167bhp, with minimal mods, and enough warrented stories about keeping up with quicker cars backed it up.
Just didn't put the decent times in on Corsa Vs Saxo day.

^ not realy, the plenum quietens them down so they sound not much diffrent to a car fitted with just an upper inlet.

If i was to do it I would go for a second hand set of dbilas TB's, then save up for management, then get jenvey or similar TB's with some nice trumpets and a 30 degree inlet. Wish I had the money I used to have befor buying a house

And just to clarify, this is what they are (my old ones)
Plenum on top
4 closed throttle bodies
4 open throttle bodies
