Not for me, this year = 21M/21F, 3NCB, £600 on my 2l DTi

Few quick quotes from Confused earlier in the year brought me out at around £450 for a year older and 4NCB

edit - My first year's bike insurance was £300 (£270 net of legal costs), Im wondering how much that will decrease next year as long as I dont bin it into a car

I've never paid more insurance the following year for car or bike. Depsite their renewal quotes I always phone up and get the price down. Best one was £600 reduction from the renewal quote just for phoning up

Insurance companies are owned by banks, so naturally premiums will go up with whats recently happened.

A lot of main insurance companies now have a minimum premium of something like £200

I stuggled to get any of my policies under £300 recently

Don't tell me they sent a renewal through and all you done was phone up and try to get money knocked off.

I pay under £300 on two cars so not that bothered about shopping around. Was the principle it had gone up with another years no claims.

£100 a week fuel is what boils my blood!

It's £150 a car John doing over 30,000 miles a year in total.

Personally, when i was paying like £600 per car then i would shop around.

Mine has stayed exactly the same £370 with Churchill.

Not as such, but I've found it's cheaper to insure a 1.9 than it is to insure my 1.3
