Anyone go??

Ive never been before, and i had such a good time. Very nice day out and not at all like i thought it would be.
Got a tip off from the owner of one of the horses that ran on Wednesday (and won) to bet on a certain horse, when we got there it was a non runner So that was everything i knew about horse racing out the window

Didnt bet in the end as there was too much banter etc, will be going next year and researching to try and win me some money

Recomend it to anyone. Get silver ring tickets though, the normal bit was a bit er.... chavtastic.

Anyway didnt take many pics but my Ascot kit included cocktail sausages M&S picnic "rug" and chair, M3, and my 2 bitches.

I really want to do Ascot.

How much were the tickets, my mums friend was going and it was £200 for the day?

Going to try and do a ladies day up here but its not the same level as Ascot.

You were there on sat then, i paid £41.11 for each ticket as they were grandstand and over 10 of us, also booked at begging of may so was cheaper still. Touts outside were selling the same tickets for £60 each
oh yeah could of got a hospitality suite with all food and drink for £120 each, wish i had done it now would of been less stressful

i was in the silver ring mate! Not posh enough for the grand stand

Main prob with silver ring was that i couldnt see jack trackwise. Great atmosphere though.

I wanna go again

You can see the track just behind us in one of the pics, wandered how you got your car in lol thought you were having a picnic in the car park, heard a load of music coming from the silver ring afterwards though, sounded like a jolly good knees up

Mrs Jambo looks lovely as ever.

I go to Ascot every year for the Shergar Cup, never been to Royal Ascot tho. Bit to 'posh' for me.

I don’t gamble, but also was given free tickets, so I went anyway.

I was a lil bored not being able to drink with all the posh nobs, but still had a giggle anyway.

Liz and her Ponies..

And one for luck before i got locked in over night
