How the hell do pikeys register cars / vans on the road? Some pikeys have set up camp about half a mile away from where I live. Seeing all their cars and vans has got me wondering how they can put them on the road.

They don't have a fixed address so how can they get road tax and insurance? They must have both of these things or they would get pulled all the time.

Wouldn't they get pulled all the time and their vehicles confiscated for no insurance?

Which begs the question; why don't the police just go to gypsy caravan sites everyday and just take their cars? I've seen plenty of coppers drive past this camp and not do a thing.

because they will get battered. tbf they need to just either a go in with a tank or just mount a machine gun on a van and do it that way.

the load at the top of my street bought a stolen transporter full of BBC fleet vehicals, they drive round in them still after a good 2 years

The Jag at the top of my street has JJ1 on the reg one day, and German plates the next

A lad I know has a German front plate and UK reear one

And...when I was 15 and doing my GCSEs, our school was getting a large extra bit built on, I remember Rocky not being in school for a good few months, then one day he pulled up outside in his dads van, came into school, fitted the carpets for his dad as he had won the job, then drove back home. He was 15 too, they all drive at 15 here, its to be expected

He went to Germany for 2 years and came back 4 years old too

I can go on all day about them blocking full streets with portacabins, closing bypasses to horse race etc etc etc

A lot of gypsy's will have a home base, not houses but caravans on plots. They actually pay more tax than us for the bins emptying and what not also. THen if they say are going to a family funeral, they will park up near to the location for a bit, so i'm guessing the tax and insurance is addressed to there main plot.

I work with a gyspy girl quite a bit and i'm always asking her about stuff, a lot of things are misconceptions.

After reading all the replies so far this seems the most efficient and cost effective way.

Don't they normally have one fixed address for that kinda thing etc?

They tend to come to our clubs all the time. Alot of them are genuinely nice people but you get a few nasty ones naturally.

Not to say i agree with their way of doing things though.

Just remember the people you are on about aren't gypsies they are pikies.

Gypsies are different, but still not great people.
