just got this while my other car is off the road as I feel I got a good deal on it. Going to just use it and enjoy it as well as do a few things that need doing. These are:

> get new pads as I dont like the EBC ones it has
>Refurb the wheels as they are in bad condition
> paint grille back as I dont like it silver

car has a few mods:

Magnex cat back
4 - 1 manifold
raceland style induction kit
superchip
sports cat
gti6 brakes
Blistien suspension (springs and shocks)

Few pictures from my phone so not great ops:

Also I dont know much about saxos but have I got uprated torsion bars or something as they are red and yellow it seems

Will update with some decent pictures once I have given it a proper clean and wax.

Gavin

Fit a lower strut brace as well mate, makes a massive difference to the handling.

Just watchout for potholes and high speedbumps lol, raised draincovers are a no no as well.

Was better today as it goes. Going to clean all the sensors up at the weekend and go from there.

What did you get to a tank in yours as this one seems really juicy

Seems alright in the end was just me driving like a penis. Now I have gone back to day to day driving I got 300 miles to the last tank

I have given the car a full detail of clay polish and wax. Looks alot better now

Now just waiting for my ebay goodies to turn up:

Standard grille
headlight lower trim
Ariel

And I am deciding if to refurb my wheels black or grey or buy a as new condition set from the bay.

Cleaned a bit of the engine bay up today. also cleaned the airfilter as it was rank and full of flys etc

Cleaned up the induction housing

Also found I have braided lines

Jacked the car up to try and find out what the clunking noise when I change gear is coming from. Thought it might be the engine mount but that looked fine

So I have no idea where its coming from unless its maybe the diff itself clunking

readjusted the exhaust while I was there though after almost removing it on a speedbump the other day.

Clunking noise is a rubber on the gear linkage, have a look inder the car and its the rubber joint directly under it.

Give it a squirt with penetrating fluid a few times over the next few days and problem will be solved*

*that sorted it for me on my VTR anyway

hmm cant see how if could be this though as it doesnt do it on the change itself its when you re-engage the clutch. Mainly does it in torqy gears like first to second.

New grille and headlight trim turned up today so it should be looking better by tomorow night
