AFC Wimbledon (The real Wimbledon) away for us.

Tough one as they'll be up for it, and we have a few new faces who'll need to bond quickly. I'd take a point I think, but I'm hoping we can sneak a win.

AFC 1-2 Luton

Craddock with both.

Excited. Much.

Crewe at home to Dag & Red in the dizzy heights of League 2....

3-1 to Crewe, we beat a fairly strong Birmingham team 4-1 last night, and have had a good pre-season, so fingers crossed.

14-1 to win the league.....

Oxford away. They have a very strong team and our defence looks dodgy.

Im going but not expecting much, Id be happy with a draw but i think it will be 2-0 Oxford

West Brom away for us.
I'm ecpecting us to be unorganised and lacklustre, a draw if we're lucky

I know its a glorified friendly but I'm quite looking forward to it. Sick of watching highlights of the Asia tour on You Tube!

Rooney to start up front and I reckon Owen will play. He also said Macheda will play a lot more so we should have a good mix out.

Community Shield squads:

Chelsea (from): Cech, Hilario, Turnbull, Belletti, Alex, Terry, Carvalho, Mancienne, Bosingwa, A Cole, Ballack, Sturridge, Mikel, Deco, Lampard, Anelka, Drogba, Ivanovic, Kalou, Ferreira, Malouda.

Man Utd (from): Foster, Kuszczak, O'Shea, Ferdinand, Evans, Evra, Valencia, Fletcher, Carrick, Scholes, Anderson, Gibson, Nani, Giggs, Rooney, Owen, Berbatov, Macheda, Tosic, Fabio, Cleverley, De Laet.

United team I'm expecting:

Foster
O'Shea Ferdinand Evans Evra
Valencia Scholes Fletcher Giggs
Rooney Owen

Although, wouldn't mind De Laet getting a start.

The first ten minutes promised so much as well

Championship is a quality league this season, Boro have a 24 year old 20 times capped German international and although he'll be leaving the Turkish international captain

We arranged to send him a book of get well wishes which he's recieved. Got a text off his parents thanking us and he himself took some pictures with it. He's doing well by all accounts.
