Looking at having a week or 2 next year somewhere in the UK. We have done Dorset 2 years in a row now so looking at somewhere different, peaceful and packed with features. PRefer nice cottage rather than hotels etc. Anyone got any ideas or places near where they live, as im out of ideas. Oh and its for me, the wife and our 1 year old daughter (will be 2 by time we go away)

This for example...

My mate lives on this estate, this is right next to his. It's stunning. It's 40 mins from stirling, 25 mins from Perth, 1.20 mins from Dundee and 1 1/2 hours away from Edinburgh/Glasgow

Ahh My boss has just renovated 2 holliday cottages but they are quite near a main road so wouldn't be ideal for a child, could have got you a discount aswell.

Full of tourists here at the minute, had a 2 week thing going on in the village so it's flooded with fat middle aged couples in shorts wearing bumbags.
