everyone who has a x14xe and x16xe or c16xe put up your spec lists.
just curious what other people have got done to their 1.4,1.6 engines.

my spec:

fully rebuilt by RCS.

c16xe head
x16xe bottom end
arp conrod bolts
dastek ecu unichip
raceland 4-2-1 manifold
genuine mantzel inlet manifold
sportex decat
ashley competition system 2 1/4 bore
de-restricted and drilled air box with k&n pannel
10mm motorsport leads
iridium spark plugs
blanked off egr

going to get it rr'd once the engine has been run in. what bhp should i expect?

post your engine specs up, and bhp output if its been rolling roaded.

You must be looking at inbetween 130-140bhp with that surely.

My wee 1.4 Sport is nothing special, and going by what the former owner tells me;

Mantzel inlet
Supersprint 4-2-1/Cat back system
Pipercross induction kit/intake hose in place of Griffin badge

I think I'll be selling off those parts, and the sports cat I have and slapping an XE on R1 TB's until I can sort out some twin 40's

C16XE fully rebuilt by myself:

80mm pistons(2mm deeper pockets)
stock rods/arps
fully lightened/balanced
helix clutch

full match ported head, cut back guides, 3 angle seats/valves
powerbox inlet
stock airbox with perf filter
not sure if omp or ashley 4-1 system and manifold.
newman cams
f15cr box.

no rolling road printouts but got a few pics somewhere, went well to be fair, only let down was i couldnt justify the money for a superchip when i was going to be build an all steel xe on standalone.

the dastek ive got is a really good peice of kit, you can raise or lower the rev limiter, add launch control adjust the fuel and air mixture. so once the engine is run in im getting it set up

arp are a stronger up rated type of bolt that holds the rods in.

Allows you to rev the engnine higher and put more stresses on it more safely.

27 degree inlet is pritty much what it says. Just provides a good angle for the individual throttle bodies
