PVD have got the new M Tech shift shortener in stock - price will be around the £69 mark, but we'll sell the one in stock for 50 quid just to get feedback on how it works.
We previously avoided quick shifts due to the poor quality of many on the market and their tendency to snap, but these are made to the highest standards.
Email pete@pvdnet.co.uk if you're interested.

Means you can change gear quicker because the shaft is shorter!

Presumably the rose jointed one is rose jointed.
Ie it does away with the poxy plastic bushes with rose joints making them more less sloppy and more precise.

I've heard that they do not fit later Corsa B's because of the electronic speedos, anybody know, Pete?

cant see why electronic speedo would make a difference. I would have though there would be more room not less.
As for worth the £80 essex imo yes.

i have a griffith engineering rose jointed kit on my B sxi
it has shortened the throw of the leaver making the gears feel chunkier. I got mine because the giter kept popping off when i selected reverse but it is great.
I would recoment rubber dustseals for the rose jointed kit unless you can get a chance to lubricate it often

the cheaper kit uses bits of your original linkage
the rose jointed one is complete and has much less flex than the plastic used in the GM bit
