I think it's cool as fuck but would never have one.
edit to say, normally I'm not a fan but they've been done properly, not just the usual steel wheels and a rusty bonnet that people call rat look. Some of the touches are amazing, especially liking the door handle relocation on the bimmer

WTF is the exhaust extension all about??
Surely thats illegal?
Certainly a wierd lot!! I mean what the fuck can they possibly have to discuss at this meet.......best rust accelerant times & have a comp to see who can store the most household junk on the roof??
Really really strange & a pretty annoying following....how the hell can you call yourself a car enthusiest if you go out your way to make it look crap. Its beyond me!!

Since when is adding camo netting to your car rat?
All them cars are trying too hard, they've created a scene of their own which certainly isnt 'rat'.

Mind that it all started with rat rods:
I think they're amazing, would be brilliant if they were powerful. It's people that just like the style but instead of a 1940s Ford they've got a Pug 406. I prefer the rods, but some of the first ones posted are quality imo.

Lol, I've got to agree with you a bit Danny. But some of the touches are genious and dead original so I can appreciate that.

I can appreciate it in a 3rd world country or some poor southern American town where its the done thing to run around in a weather beaten car thats full of dents and bits hanging off.
But here in the UK to take something shit like a punto and try your best to make it look even shitter & stick your nan's old 1960's luggage on the roof & throw a tin of paint stripper around it is just strange!! Is it a cry out for attention or something, 'just to be different & express myself' ffs become a goth then!!
I seriously hope this crap burns out soon quicker than the lexus lights craze!!

Nothing is original, they've stoen them from various other 'scenes'.

A matt black 406 with painted wheels and a Bosozoku inspired exhaust is as far away from rat look as you could get

'Nothing'? I'd say the relocated door handle on the 3 series is one of the most original things I've seen, along with the half and half Scirocco. Again, I'm not saying I would drive one or do it to a normal car but I think some of the stuff's quite well done.

I don't know where but I'd bet you a million pounds he's stolen it from somewhere.
