Went to collect the turbo lastnight with Blythy.
Fitted it forst thing thismorning.
Got it all back together and started her up in hope.
A tiny amount of smoke but nothing really.

Then took it up the road to see how it went. All seems fine apart from it still smokes a tad.

The guy did tell me that it mite as he said the oil return is too small.
Ive used the std LET one????

So im going to order a oil return and feed kit to hopfully sort that out.
But as it wouldnt be here before Saturday anyway. Im still going to Pod :thumb:
Cant bloodu wait!

Acouple of pic's to start with

My new banner thanks to Renno (mk3oc) :thumb:

My Corsa and Astra

And this is were the fun begins.

Seems the Corsa has been running fine. I thought id stick in on the Dyno to get a power reading (Pub talk BHP FTW )
So got up there about 5.20pm yesterday.
Put it on.
Went for a drive to warm the tyres up.

First power run. Wheels were just spinning when it hit boost so Fail.
Second power run. Same
Third power run. Tryed 5th gear. Worked. Didnt get to see what it made because his Comp crashed before loading the results  :frown:
Forth power run. 5th again. At the end of the run. 7k+ rpm most of the lights came up on the dash so i just turned her straight off. At this point i should say that i do the rolling roading on my car's at this garage.
Waited in antishapation for the results to come up. Only half did for a second or two and it looked like i was running about 280 - 300bhp at 10psi boost 8)
I cant say for sure though not untill next time

Anyway. Let is run down. Got out to inverstergate.
Didnt spot anything at first so i turned the key to see if it would start. A split second went past and from there, i knew what had happend.
So took the filter of and spotted no Alt belt :frown: So took the belt cover off to see that the timing was out :frown:

So packed up from there and got towed home.

This morning i got sraight on it.
Abit of Alt belt in here!

Turned it over to line the marks up.
Nearly 180 degrees out.

Took the belt off.
Abit more.

Carryed on and took the head off.

I must have 8 bent inlet valves

Ive orderd a new cambelt kit from Autovaux. Will be here tomorrow before 12
Going over to see Gaz & Anday tonight.
Andy has took a spear head of mine into work to presure test it ect.
So i will take mine over later.
See what is best and work from there.

I hope im still able to get it all back together before Saturday so i can still go to Pod

Not a happy bunny tbh
I thought my bad luck streek had gone but it apears not!
Never mined.
Try try again.

Gutted mate youve had soo much bad luck! I would have proberly given up by now lol

How come the timing slipped you rekon? I presume it was timed up correctly before so was it just a case of it jumping out by itself?
