Briatore is to leave Renault F1 over this fix saga - looks like it had some truth behind it then!!

Edit - and Renault have said they wont argue any charge of fixing the race!

Just read about it, not heard owt of this but seems like a modern take on team orders and doesnt sound any worse than what eddie irvine was made to do race after race etc etc :S

Yes team orders are banned, and I think telling someone to crash in a certain place to cause a safety car to be needed (and therefore possibly putting others in danger) is a bit worse than 99% of team orders.

I dont think they'll ban them (they wont want to run the risk of losing another car manufacturer from F1), as they have got rid of the two who cooked the idea up by the looks of it.

Im going to guess a big fine much like McLaren got.
