This a one off or something you will/can offer in the future?

I'm seriously weighing up a 1.8 Conversion, but am paying for a holiday for me & swmbo for next year, so would look at doing this in the late Summer/Autumn...

Getting someone else to do it for me in more convenient for me TBH.

hardely expensive tbh, for an engine conversion

engine/ecu will set you back at least £300.

and this is good condition/ low mileage engine

its an excellent price!

i said the condition of engine above,

its in good condition, come out of an auto, 60k, has been serviced regularly

iv put a cambelt kit on it, and serviced it regularly

it could be painted up, if wanted to be,

are you interested?

lol yeah sorry mate, i'd read that. i meant as in painted up block etc. But seems a very good price for the service you'll be providing, if any of your work/photo's & projects are anything to go by on here it would make a very tidy conversion.

well its cheaper than a c20xe, newer and for that reason more reliable that a 20 year old engine (with 20 year old sensors)

is a small block, so lighter, no need to change as many things

i cant promise that you wont want to go faster, as i think everybody does!

there are plenty of tuning options about to up the power...

its in the silver b at the moment, all fully running etc never in the c

will be removed when the buyer is coming down, and fitted into theres, just so its not sitting around on the floor!

Hmmm... Considering buying a cheap ass shell and getting this fitted for a track car. And use the XE daily! Or vice versa Maybe, just maybe if this is still here at the end of February, I'll come down and have it fitted with the flywheel and inlet... Just don't tell Shell
