it's strange as fuck. watched it when i was a kid and it scared the crap out of me. seen it recently and thought it was garbage.

I think they did a decent job of adapting the novel, although they understandably left out the kiddie gangbang near the end. (no I'm not joking)

The book comes highly recommended by me though, it's epic and truly terrifying.
