HO-LEE-SHIZ

The thing is 'mazin, the engine is a work of art

Most impressive thing is the numbers

1022WHP on 93Octane Fuel and it was only running 15psi

1/4 = 9.1 @ 169mph on street tyres
60-130mph = 3.5 sec

1022bhp on 93octane fuel, bloody hell. Imagine what it'd do mapped on proper fuel.

I'm sure they know what they're doing, but I'd be fairly worried turbocharging an engine and using such crap fuel.

Have they changed the compression ratio?

Americas octane rating is different to ours. There is ron, mon and son iirc and americas pump fuel is actually close to our 102RON rating.

Plus theres nothing wrong with 93 octane fuel. Just means its more volatile. Modern engines are designed to run between 85 and 102RON iirc anyway.

ohh right i always thought we had a better rating as when you go over there there is always a choice of

*Regular (87)
*Medium (89)
*Premium (93)

I always thought thats rubbish as our unleaded is 95
