Don't get me started in here as well...

I could of gone in today, sorted the mail for everyone in Oakwood, and not delievered any. They weren't letting staff out on Delivery today, so even if I went in, it wouldn't of helped out the public.

I was waiting on a very important package today, and it came. Much to my surprise.

I'm on £8.50ish an hour, I believe it's because they're making us work more hours for the same amount of pay.

Their idea being that all postman everywhere finish early and don't work their contracted hours, therefore more work means they'll work to their hours.

Which in 50% of the workforce is probably true, however 50% are now being forced to work over their time, hence the strike.

I normally finish 20-30mins early, but that's because i'm a healthy 26 yr old, and I make sure i get round quickly so I can get home and get on with my day. If i relaxed and strolled round i'd take to my time

I hope with all these businesses moving away from Royal Mail and using competitors that the fuckers striking end up being made redundant as demand drops.

Unions are one of the worst things in the world.

We got our post today.

TBH if you knew what the posties get paid to deliver our mail you would probably feel more sympathetic to their cause!
