I love Orcas and have done shit loads of reading and viewing on them. IMO the bites don't look right for it to have been one of them

I have seen videos of orcas hunting seals in the winter. They'll pop up, spot a seal on the ice so they'll create some huge waves to knock the seal off.

The documentary on the orca that killed the great white also suggested that they know about the sharks vulnerability when turned upside down, it's the same technique they use to kill stingrays.

Awesome creatures they are.

i think that was on tv last week where the killer whale held that shark upside down for 15 mins to disorientate it. then ate it.
