* Thats Carling if you're a bit dim

Away to the giant killers that are Barnsley tonight, hope they don't do us over like their heroics last year (seriously)

Expected team for us tonight:

Kuzsczak
Neville Brown Evans Fabio
Welbeck Gibson Obertan Nani
Macheda Owen

Not sure if Obertan will be on the wing as he can play wide, centre or up front.

Looking forward to seeing him play again tomorrow at some point. Hopefully will see a few more youngsters such as Eccleston, Pacheco and Amoo play, all of which are amazing talents.

Did you see pacheco's free kick before half time against sunderland cosmo, awesome! I quite want to see Amoo as i've never seen him kick a ball and heard he's a real prospect.

I think ngog will start and rightly so

Yeah I watched the game on lfc tv. Was a great freekick, his 2nd or 3rd like that this season!

Amoo is so strong and pacey for his age, but IMO Eccleston is the biggest prospect playing in the reserves, more so than Pacheco. He is faster and stronger than Amoo, and is a true two footed player. He has only stepped up to the reserves this season, but I wouldnt be surprised if he played in the firsts before the end of the season.

Yeah I saw a re-run of it on lfctv at the weekend, was spot on, he looks very dagnerous from set plays but also looks tricky and full of vision playing as a forward/in the hole.

Where did we get ecclestone from or is he a pure academy player (don't think i've heard his name at all until this year)?

17m ish as marc said

When he came he looked a real prospect, probably better in his first year than ronaldo was, but ronaldo was clearly intelligent and listened to everyone and improved by a hell of a lot, into the player he is today

Nani is just is a fucking retard, doesn't listen to any criticism, and continues to play as he always has, he'll never improve into the talent he has hiding, and its that reason why he should jog the fook on imo

Yes, yes, yes, yes

If he learned how to play the game on loan in a lower league it might help

Although he'll never go for that, far too arrogant

Anderson was worth it, he shows real potential. I don't care if he doesn't score many hes going to be a really good midfielder.

Why the fuck doesnt he get played then?

He was your best player at Anfield last year (could of been year before?) marking Gerrard, he destroyed all our attacking play - you could of done with that on Sunday.

I questioned this also whilst watching the match. Strange move bringing Nani on when Anderson is fully fit.

I'm not sure tbh, because he plays really well when he does play

He did the same with fabregash on a couple of occasions too

It's possibly because he is so loyal to scholes, who he insists on playing when unfortunately he doesn't offer as much as he used to, he tends to always get booked and put us at risk of 10 men

Yeah I know.

I sometimes get the impression Fergie feels some sort of obligation to play Neville and Scholes in the big games.
