Playing tonight as the fucking Peanut Huggers are playing at our ground tomorrow

Think we'll go through, no let in a goal at home for just over 10 weeks now, and we've certainly got enough fire power to see them off.

Reckon it will be 3-0 to us.

I've been betting on Jordan Rhodes as first scorer for the last few weeks now, and he's always 2nd or 3rd, damn the Terriers prowess in front of goal

D&R will be a bit of a test for you I reckon, they're used to scoring a lot of goals as well, Paul Benson is another of my usual 1st scorer guys!

You'll beat us. We are missing 2 of our best players (Jimmy Sangare & Michael Gash) so i can't see us getting much out of it. Draw at best but then you will hammer us at your place, our away record is woeful.

Still, live in hope but if we score first then we have had it because we will just go into ULTRA DEFENSE mode and concede.

Im just going to C&P what i wrote on the York forum, because im in too much shock to keep typing

Oh. My. God.

Did that really just happen?

Absolutely AMAZING. What a game, that more than makes up for the Oxford game on the opening day. I think that is probably one of the most mental i have seen the Longhurst go. Carnage!

Brodie, take a bow son. Both your goals today were right out of the top drawer. Foyle actually made the correct subs at the correct time Credit to him.

I cant really sum up the match right now, I'm still in total shock but i think we deserved to win. They looked mighty dangerous in attack but average elsewhere. Their No. 11 was a real menace and Purkiss struggled against him, you could tell by the end of the game Ben was knackered, probably due to the illness and lack of training.

Proud day to be a York supporter, i couldn't bring myself to go on the pitch at the end, after all its only Crewe we just beat.

What a great day

PS. Make sure you watch the FA cup goals tonight. Both Brodie's goals were out of the very top drawer.

Yeah, it's not that difficult to do at the moment really.

Think I just missed the highlights on ITV so i'll watch online later to cheer myself up No.11 is Joel Grant, been a fair bit of talk about him actually, saying that he's looking like he'll be a good player, but should score more.

Crewe haven't produced anyone worth selling for a while now, which was the only reason we were one of the few teams who made profits. Think Maynard was the last, sold for 2.2m and he looks like he's coming good finally for Bristol City.

Anyhoo, didn't think we'd win but ah well, it's only the FA Cup.

Headline on Crewealex.net "Crewe deserved their win" .... hmmmm....

The naming rights run out in December, I'm just getting everyone back into the groove

The thing with Crewe was, attacking wise, you were brilliant, it was just your defending that let you down. I don't think you are far from been a decent side that could challenge for promotion in L2

Sounds about right, i've not watched them for quite a while tbh, living in Derby now, but going to watch them away at Chesterfield on Dec 2.

Whenever i've seen the goals on BBC it's normally stupid mistakes, or just plain poor defending, will be interesting to watch them again though, now we're concentrating on the league and all that.

The thing is, when I used to go all the time was Danny Murphy, Dean Ashton, Seth Johnson, even before that Lennon etc... when we used to play good solid passing football. The last few years we got Thordarson in and he changed them to longer play, Dario's now back in charge for the time being, so we'll see what happens with a new manager etc...
