Im looking for eurotunnel prices atm and is coming out at about £104 return. Is this a good price (seems expensive). Its from the Eurotunnel website. Anyone know anywhere cheaper.
Also whilst getting the quote i saw this, (look under the pets section)

Well, the Eurotunnel goes to France. In France it's very common to have a ferret as a pet, much like you'd have a dog. Doesn't take a genius to put the two together.
The tunnel is usually more expensive than a ferry.

But there is a price to pay for getting to and from France in 30 mins or so. I'd much prefer to do the tunnel and pay the extra than a poxy ferry.

You can usually buy crates of beer and sell the cans at an inflated price to children on school trips when on the ferry.

France is lovley.
far better than england.
Better roads.
Nicer people who lay on feasts for you.
Stunning scenery (once out of the north).
I like France.

What Ollie said.
Full of smelly french people walking around
Full of people going fishing drinking beer at an ungodly hour of the morning
Expensive food
Staff are rude
They dont have enough change in their tills
Everything is closed in the morning making it useless
Takes fucking ages
The train doesnt suffer any of the problems above, you're not even on it enough to go looking around let alone a poo. It is more expensive then the ferry but its a damn sight quicker.

if you need to do it on the cheap then go for the ferry, it suits lots of people but drive on, park, 40 minutes later, drive off FRANCE! is a nice experience.
