So you spend all that time and money making your car perfect and then how long is it before you get bored and really want something else?

Discuss!

drive it at granny speeds in high gears for a week then go out in it at the weekend, driving like a chav and you'll soon find it exciting again.

I dont think I get bored of them so much, I just like the searching round etc. part and then the initial excitement when you get a new car.

I got bored of my Golf after a few weeks (Mk3 Tdi ), sometimes I felt bored with the Mk3 Ibiza but I would go for a drive and love it again! Loads of plans for the new one so should keep me occupied for a few years!

same here, the van is fun cos it suprises people and so cant get bored of that!

and the vx performance is pretty frightening for the road so not sure i could ever get bored of that either!

best way to stop u getting bored of cars is to have a boring car also, i get to use mums fiesta at the moment so both the other cars seem special when u drive them! appricate them more when driving something slow!

Only just thinking it's time to move on from the Punto after 3 years. Possibly to another Punto I would like something a bit more silly, but the insurance is a killer of ideas

My LET Corsa I never once got bored of in the 2 years of owning it. Maybe due to the fact I hardly got to drive it due to it keep breaking, but even so I looked forward to everytime I could. The Ibiza lasted 4 months.
