I had a bb4 on my car once, don't know how long it would of lasted as I swapped it after 4 months! I only paid £86 for it brand new and that included fitting!

they tend to make small engined cars sound pretty loud. My mate had a big bore 2 on his 1.1 metro and it sounded really nice. lol.
Think it was revs that did a backbox test the other year and Peco Bigbores got quiet an increase. think there results were a bit dodgy though (7bhp increase on a 1.4 corsa SRi with an Ashley backbox. lol)

The quote I got from Powerflow was "around the $180-90 mark" plus VAT for my 1.4 16v.
Think I'm gonna go for the Scorpion 6"x4" oval, I haven't heard one good report about Peco, other than the ones in their adverts!

I bought our Corsa Van with a BB2 on it. It had been on there for about 3 years and hadn't completely rusted through, but it didn't look pretty!
Still sold it on for 20 quid though

i had peco on my cav, there was nothing wrong with it and it sounded good. I had a rage exhaust twin 3inch pipes, it was LOUD to loud infact, it did my head in and seriously affected fuel consumption. get a well known brand dont get any old shit.

RAGE ARE WEL KNOW. they shouldnt affect consumption for just a back box i dont think.
i dont see a problem with loud as long as its not a crap sound. as long as it is noticable im happy
