I dont use MSN, can't multi send U2U messages, and can't use CS chat.
No-one was getting abusive there, and it was off Corsasport topic i admitt, but it was still relevent. Could have cleared quite a few peoples names, or just prooved all the rhumours true thats all.

The only reason it was closed i think is because someone on there has been telling lots of people lots of different stories (bragging) but now its in the open, that person in hiding away, and trying to hide all the different stories that person has told everyone.

I can appreciate it wasn't an abusive thread, and I wouldn't close it just because it was off topic.
I closed it after requests from several people to do so.
Now I don't know the full story behind the thread (although I've pretty much worked out the jist of it), but I can't really see what good it does airing dirty laundry on a public message board? 
If people can really give me a compelling enough reason to re-open it, I'll gladly do so but until then I'd appreciate it if people could try and find alternative ways to discuss this issue. After all, it also effects only a small percentage of site users, many of which may not give a monkeys about this situation?
Please don't see this as a thread closure just for the sake of it - I'm just trying to make an appropriate decision based on the interests of the majority of board users...
