Just went to scrapyard to get some rear seats as I was sick of the cally leather squeaking whenever I went over bumps in the road etc.

Got some nice looking interior, backrest and bench for £10, coppergrease for £3 and while I was in the scrappy I found some brand new locking nuts and locking key

Anyone else had some good finds or owt in a scrappy?

I went with a mate once, wanted Corsa stalks for his Nova. Found a merit one without rear wash wipe which was quite rare and what he wanted. He threw it over the fence thinking it was a bargain, went outside and couldn't find it on the pavement. Looked further away and he had thrown it in to the middle of the road and it was smashed to bits.

What parts are good to pocket out of scrapyards though? like small parts, not haynes manuals! lol. I don't know how people can sneak things as big as that out. lol, what small parts are valuable and very easy to sneak out? sensors?
