Not much atall, just do it on a dry day or in a garage, makes it much easier...

Worst bit is removing the bonded sound deadening, requires scrapers, heat guns and white spirits etc,

Removing Trim etc is easy

I find it quite fun/relaxing to rip a cars interior to pieces

Cool, cheers for that. My car will be fully stripped with an XE in it. Are you able to sell these track cars for a fair bit, or will i get more if i keep all the interior to put it back to normal when i fancy a change.

Dunno

I'm keeping everything I can from mine, so if i sell it, I can give people an option, or just chuck everything in it loose and let them deal with it

Though, If i was getting rid after spending money on it on decent bits, realistically I'd probably sell the decent stuff seperately and return it to standard.

Depends how far you go.

Mine will never go back as all the fixing points for the seats have been cut away. There would be no point in removing the sound deadening if you intend to put it all back at a later date.

I just bit the bullet and made the decision to go all or nothing really.

resale value will all depend on whats been done, would somebody buy mine for what I would want for it, probably not.
Hence I would never sell mine, I would probably get more if I broke it. And that is generally what most people do now, particulary Nova's are always broken as there is more money in the parts.

Mine will be stripped to the same level as yours i think. Have a standard XE in it, the rear half of the cage, anthrecite bumper strips etc, anthrecite wheels and so on.

Mines going to be a daily driver aswell as im only 19 and can't afford another car. Is it going to be hell to live with? I only live 5 miles from work so i think id cope lol.

Short distances are ok.

Long journeys are hell. In the summer its like a suana, in the winter an igloo.

I couldn't live with mine every day.

Agreed.

The noise inside a stripped car CAN soon gets tedious and annoying too on a long drive IMO.

I found it fine to live with, I even drove around with just one seat for a couple of weeks when I was looking for a new one. I painted the floors as well, which isnt shown above. It was noisy, but I enjoyed that, I even drove about 250 miles one day and didnt complain, and mine had a full exhaust system, 4 branch etc

I kept all my interior for when I sold it, but couldnt keep the carpet as I ripped it out with a stanley knife. Luckily enough a like minded mate bought it off me and didnt mind. I sold that car back in may and 5 of my mates have owned it lol, the interior keeps going out and in, out and in lol
