Returned back from NY earlier this week - what a place

They have started the new tower and tower 7 has been rebuilt. original tower foundations to be made into waterfalls detailing the people who died

I love NY!! I can't explain the feelings I get looking through all them pictures but they're great and make me really smile

I went a couple of years ago for thanksgiving and was blown away. Don't know what it is about the place, but it's amazing

That is a very cool hotel, and the website has to be one of my favorite. Bit pricey though

flights and hotel were dirt cheap if I am honest

I got a new york pass which was about £140 each which allowed access to everything I listed apart from Ground zero memorial

Spent over a $1000 in Abercrombie though

took $400 spending money for food etc and spent that

I went in 1993. Feels really weird when you've seen it in the films and you're actually there!

I've been up the Empire State Building too, quite a view!

to be honest mate a sub £200 camera

lumix dmc tz6 - Wide angle is so cool

Certainly one of places on my list of travels.
Btw, may i ask how much you ended up paying for flights and the hotel? Been looking at NY for a while but flights always seem to be about £5/600 alone

if you've managed them shots with a compact then you would be awesome with an slr. your composition is spot on in some of them.

575 for flights and 4 nights each
