Hi Boys and Girls

Well were do i start, iv been on this forum for a couple of years now, but never got round to putting up a build thread.

Before i got my corsa, i used to own this:

After running that for a year, with the stupidly slow 1.4 8v in it, i got rid, and got myself, well what i fort were a were a bargin.

Picked this up for £950, 1.4 Sport with full service history, 1 lady owner, most of its life, till a lad bort it for his wife, then she got pregnant, so just sat in a garage for a year. . ohh and its only got 44,000 miles on clock!

Got it home, and got to work straight away.. took rub strips off... de-badged grill on.. clear side repeaters..

Then went round to my unkles body shop in bradford.. APM autos.. and got in machine buffed,

so after a month or so of owning it, decided didnt like the height of it, been used to the polo been on its arse.. so got some fk shox and springs.. -70 ish front and -80ish back i beleve..?? ill let u decide that, but i ended up cutting some off the rears, didnt like it after it settled, needed to go lower!! ohh and i put a laguna splitter on at the same time anal =P

Me pretending to do some work

the money shot.. =P

its abit lower than this now.. thats when it were first lowered.. before i cut a coil off springs (dodgy i know... i have been told... )

The most recent pick iv got, but this were a couple of months ago....

... Now iv got door handles done in white, and rear boot lock thing?

i have also just got some cesaro's and just got them powder coated in white,

But last night decided to hit a mahooosive puddle at silly speeds.. and bent a few conrods in engine, so wheels wont get tires till get a new engine gets put in.

Thinkin about a C20XE, just dont have to cash at the moment, so prob just gonna frow a 1.6 in it, till i find the money next year for a XE.

Hope you like... All comment, good and bad are welcome!

Cheers for looking.

Shaun

UPDATE:

well after blowing the engine, i put a new one in, 1.6 this time, on a 1.4 box, i fancy inlet manifold (dont know name) and a de-cat! just got a pic of taking old one out:

Then got my new wheels powder coated, and put a yellow pin stripe around the edge: i quite like it!!

In the snow

Then some little bit, wind deflectors, rear 3 windows tinted (dont know if i like them tho) and, theee all important WHEELS!!!

Thats all for now people... I really think the wheels set it off!!

Ohh and i know my side repeters are hangin out, had problems with them staying in, all fixed now tho

.. Let me know what you think!! all comments welcome!!

Cheers!!

Shaun!!

Put an X18XE1 in it, straight swop and lower ins premium than a 1.6 (in my experience due to 1.8 being 2 insurance groups lower than 1.6)

PS Lovely lookin car fella, got potential
