I've had two near misses in the past week due to this. It can't be all places, Milton Keynes is a well lit place in general so I guess its easy to leave the multi-storey carparks without realising you've no lights on, but Jesus Christ

How can you forget to turn them on?? Especially when your dash won't be lit up either...

I waited until she had audio.

No chance of said knee deep action. Anyone who can't work a headlight switch isn't going to look good on a mortgage.

Out in India they switch there lights off when not trying to pass someone (flash them out of the way) to save power. Go figure.

My old man did a driving test out there... He got a bollocking for unfolding the wing mirrors.

Back on topic - Ach, it is easy enough to do in well lit areas I suppose.... but you really should notice no dash lights and all the folk flashing at you. Seen so many folk recently. Must be people who dont really drive much after work hours (but its dark at 4pm now)..

I was over taking someone a few months ago on a nice long straight country road and some complete old spaz was parked on the road reading a map with only his side lights on, I only seen the damn car when I was seconds away from hitting the twat, then he has the cheek to start flashing the lights and waving with anger at me. I slowed down to turn round and tell the idiot to get off the road but then he drove off

I did this just after my Dad had died Someone beeped there horn to let me know and gave them the thumbs.

I clearly shouldn't have been driving at that point but was the first thing to do when we needed to get to the hospital at 3am.

Seen loads around MK tonight, but one thing that bugs me is people that just hate driving in the dark, so thinks its better to drive at 35mph, rather than 60mph like the road is supposed to be!
