Currently have standard 1.6 sport brakes on at the moment but im not all that impressed with them so im looking to upgrade them but not sure what to.
I would like some brakes bigger than 2L ones also want to fit black diamond disks so they dont rust.
Anyone got any suggestions or advice?

imo 2l setup with shit hot discs and pads be better than v6 due to unsprung weight on v6 discs and pads, unless you go for wilwoods 4pot route

Go V6 ones then. Get some braided lines as well if you havent already, i wouldnt bother with black diamond discs, just get standard.

I find that there is nothing wrong with standard brakes. I've never used antyhing else so, have nothing to compare them too.
But uprated discs, very good quality pads and braided lines are more than sufficent for mine, and it see's more abusive track mileage than road mileage.

I run a Calibra turbo setup with 4 stud discs and ferodo ds2500 pads.....Couldn`t wish for more!!
Also on trackdays they Keep braking good after some good punnishment for a few laps.
Had an omega 3000 girling setup also but that was just a bit to much.

The advatage turbo`s have over V6 are they have a smaller piston than V6 so not as much peddle travel, this were ppl think V6 are spongy.
