what collars do you use on your dogs? one of my dogs has managed to go through 3 collars in 2 weeks she keeps snapping them, i have no idea how she is doing this because 2 of the collars was thick leather ones, and its not down to any other dog chewing it either

I use a thick material one, about an inch wide with chain segment. She has been known to pull very hard.
The half check on this page

Mine has a Rogz one, latches over to stop the connector coming out and it's made from some heavy duty material, he broke whatever one he had before that.
He only ever has it on when he's out a walk though.

Leather. Last for years and years.
If the dog is pulling when walking then you need to get it sorted. Cant be doing with dogs that pull on the lead

also guys i like her to have a collar on 24/7 with her being out side most of the day, if she ever got out of the garden she doesnt have a reliable recall, although she is chipped i like her to have her tag on at all times aswell

Huskies should wear a harness when out on a walk, not a collar.

But not when your walking her When your out walking kids to school or out in the park she should be to heel !
Gives people with big dogs a bad name when other people see them getting dragged down the road. Might find she won't snap leads if she does that ! Otherwise as someone has already said get a harness.

i never said she snaps them while out walking, she snaps them while she is in the garden on her own
cant use a harness danny as that will be what she will wear when she is "working" and they shouldnt wear a harness over a collar anyway for walking, not sure where you got that from

How often will she be ''working'' is she a pet or an employee? the guy over the road from me has a huskie, it wears a big fuck off harness when he walks it then nothing around the house. They're strong dogs, I'm not suprised it keeps breaking collars.

Yeah I meant a harness instead of a collar, just put it on her when you're walking her.
