If you can understand this pic then well done, but if you can't, then it's meant to show the beginning of the new year and the old year fading out into the background.
Post processing: The colours didn't come out great so played with that so it looks as it should, and added a gradient. Also removed something written in one of the boxes

Today's pic, the communal cat For argument's sake let's call it number 5 
Long story short(ish) a while ago the people that owned it lost interest in it what with their millions of other pets so for a bit this moggy wandered round the close looking for food and a bed etc. After a couple of weeks someone over the road found out who owned it and offered to take it on, which they have done. She still has the habit of wandering round all the houses and seeing who's in though Everyone calls it a different name, but we call it Lieutenant Furrysides in homage to Lieutenant Shinysides, the dead fish Peter had in Family Guy. She sometimes answers to Lieutenant

Cheers, I took loads of the thing Really nice cat too, also a bit mental so will sometimes go outside and do a backflip a meter in the air trying to catch butterflies in summer.

Today's pic, number 6:
Taken on a walk to the next village over, my dad and sister in the snow where there is usually a beaten track. Not much to say really
PP: Auto levelled and auto coloured image to bring it to life a bit more then duplicated layer and de-saturated then erased dad & sister for selective colour, and then increased contrast and decreased brightness ever so slightly on greyscale layer.
