Forgot about it totally, so trying to plan something to do, was looking at Paris, which is gonna be like £600+ for flights and hotel!!! but we are saving just now so thats out the window.

Just fancying going somewhere for a dirty weekend, some shopping, eating and drinking.

Was thinking about Edinburgh, i know its only a couple hours from me, but just to go somewhere?

Any recommendations?

Urm, we have how long left till then

Think i'm boycotting it this year, just another money making holiday for the shops. Why do something special that weekend and not any other weekend ?

Because my girlfriend would appreciate it more being on Valentines day, and i work offshore, so i aint home alot of the time so surely making the effort to do something on that day isnt too much to ask of me.

Tom- WTF is Etap?? if its a flight company, then they dont fly from Aberdeen,so it would mean getting a flight down the road then onto another flight. arsed

Jus was wandering if anyone had been somewhere just for a dirty weekend and recommend it?

I took her to Amsterdam last year

I've done the whole Paris Valentine thing before in the past. It was good but expensive. Also split up shortly after we got back which was nice.

Nope I got well and truly shafted. Funnily enough have never gone to that much trouble with any girl I've been with on Valentines day since then. Kind of puts you off a bit

Paris for valentines is a cliche!

Ive booked for the missus and i to go over to dublin as a surprise for a few days to show her the sights and meet up with a few of the lads like, staying in stephens green and booked a very exclusive and posh restaurant for dinner

You're a chump oRbbo.

But suppose you have to try hard as with the age difference you have to do something to keep her interested.
