It has 83k on the clock, 1 owner, FSH, and looks to be a very clean motor.

i aint clued up on them, so what is there to look for? what goes wrong with them etc?

obviuosly torque is an optional extra.

but in all seriousness....

not really much that goes on them from experience of friends etc. make sure the oil level is right, some like to burn a bit at higher revs, but general things like accident damage, paintwork etc

Nothing much, check the vtec works, seriously. Check the radiator isn't damaged in anyway.

Or you could buy mine, red 52k, 2 owners, very clean car 5.6k

It very overlooked, you go and look at the car, you like it, you give them the money, you go to start it up and drive off, nothing happens, you pop the bonnet and WHAM no engine.

You've then paid for a car with no engine and the cunt wont give you any refund.

Or you could post on a Vauxhall Corsa based website instead of a one dedicated to CTR's.

Who's the cock now

Still you tbh, I have an Astra Gsi and i still post things on here as people have had the same engine and same car, theres a few people on here now with the same car as me, and many times Ive found an answer quicker on here aswell.

Same situation with the Type R, few members have had them and theres is a good amount now with Type R's, and plenty of people with the knowledge

I have a Nova but to be honest, it would be best suited on a site dedicated to CTR's, and the only reason I use here is because I was going to use a C16XE (an engine used in the Corsa B ), but sold it and realised this site is actually pretty cool and probably the busiest site I know of.

as a honda tech,

check second gear syncro and air-con condenser. as said before, check oil level and tyre wear.

otherwise, very little to look for.

4door civic window regs mess up every now and then, usually when the owner tries forcing it open, CTR owners tend to be more careful.
