Pretty much what the title says
Head Gasket
Oil Filter
Air Filter
Spark plugs (set of 4)
5 ltr 10/40 Oil
I've been phoning around this morning as I'm doing a fell service on my mg zs.Already got the cambelt kit for it as I bought it for my previous one.Some places seem to be robbing Ba****ds....
Cheapest Ive ound for all that is £42.38p

not bad really. £15 for ngk's. 10-15 for oil, airfilter normally 4 or 5 quid, oil filter 3 quid, dunno about the gasket

but yeah, it's all estimates but yer.

Yeah It seems a good price,Phoned round 4 places and the dearest WITHOUT the oil was £78.96

It is reccommended and highly advised but I managed to do mine without changing the bolts, 10k+ miles later, it's still running strong

Its not a risk I would want to take though for the sake of £25ish for headbolts.

Agreed root,I'm not doing to do them as it was only serviced 7k ago with all that so dont see the need.Only reason i'm doing it is due to me not knowing the car so want to be on the safe side

ide get new head bolts if you warp the head your fucked!

The head isnt warped as the engine is fine.no headgasket issues so not sure it will need it

But if you are taking the head off you might aswell do headbolts and get the headskimmed as it is a big job as opposed to a service that takes a couple of hours.

Yeah true,normally though i only skin the head if the hg has gone.its £40 to skim a head round meaning its another £65 i dont need to spend on top

Why are you doing the head gasket? If you bought desent gaskets, bolts, and skimmed the head you would need to do it again

Look on ebay for service kits.
Found the kits pretty usefull myself.

No but re using stretchy bolts could well warp the head!
