I have just voted GSi, however I think I should have voted for the 1.2 SXi.
The C16XE and X16XE engines are shite IMHO and more trouble than they're worth.
Stick with the 1.2 until you can afford a C20XE.

Early C16XE GSi is by far the best IMO. Most power, most tunable, and the GSi looks the best. DOnt need to do much to it at all to make it a cracking motor.

Best all round corsa is a 1.4 16V sport.
You have some form of small power, cheap insurance, electrics and a couple of gadgets etc... nice all round car

No dates/times were mentioned. Put altogether yeah, i'd still have the GSi, maybe a 1.6 Sport. Wouldn't even think about buying any of the others (bar the 1.6 T). 1.8 16v is shite. Gutless, boring, just a sh1te car.

the 1.8 16v is still a lot quicker than the GSi though! Boring for a current flagship Corsa model, but still the pick of the crop.
The GSi was discontinued 8 years ago, hard to find a goodun now.
The Corsa C has better brakes, handling, build quality, etc. than the Corsa B.
