GUTTED!!!!

What started off as a simple cambelt change my dad has ended up bending a valve

He couldnt get the bottom pully off to time it up and by him cutting the corner on it its now fucked.I'm gutted as i've only had the car 3 weeks

More money needs spending now and the car in bits again.....

Did you not do the head gasket at the same time?

You might get away with re-using it but i wouldn't!

Add that to the costs mate........

Should have marked it all up before you took the old belt off mate.

You wouldn't have even had to bother taking the pulley off then.

Hope you sort it though.
