How many eggs can you eat in a day.

today i had 5 egg whites and 1 yolk scrambled.

my dad says i will kill myself eating that many eggs in a day.... is he right

I can't see why, their good for you (far as i'm aware) I tend to have 2-5 scrambbled on brown toast a day

No, your dad is misinformed.

It's true that eggs raise your cholesterol, however they raise your 'good' cholesterol levels (LDL iirc) which in turn is used to create our life essence, testosterone.

A bloke who trains at my gym eats 20 eggs a day and has done for the past 20 years and hes fitter, stronger and in better shape than most lads half his age.

I would think that you could eat as many eggs as you wanted a day. As long as you don't maintain this over the period of a few days as you will lose out on other nutrients that your body needs.

I think his dad isn't talking shit, I mean, eating only or mainly eggs will not provide you with all the nutrients you need to sustain a healthy body, however, it will not kill you unless you take it to some mental extreme like nothing but eggs for years.

might do, personally, i think they're healthy and as long as you don't take the piss with some weird egg fetish, nibbling the white off while you rub the yolk on your penis etc. Then you should be fine

i have 4 for breakfast either scrambled or in an ommlette. sometimes i have another 2-4 later on. it depends what mood i'm in.
