Should you not pay of your scamming debts before buying guns?

I used to have a c02 pistol, an Umarex Beretta upto 420fps .177
I found good quality c02 capsules like the crossman ones helped with the power.
depends if you want a pistol or rifle
I personally would have liked Crossman Ratcatcher
MarkSport thats evil, shoot your friends but not animals

I had a Webley Tempest .22 hand gun.
It was ok. Mate shot me in the back point blank with it and it but a hole in me the depth of the pelet.

There is a legal limit to all unlicensed air-airms, none of the guns you can buy off the shelf are particularly powerful.
Why would you want a powerful pistol anyway? Target pistols are not highpower.

Thats the speed of the pellet, nothing to do with the power.

You want to be looking at the lb/ft really.. Sadly BB guns dont normally give that spec.

Some mate
Here's mine, CO2 Walther CP99, pellets. I'd say it was pretty powerful, certainly shoots through items well enough

There are no co2 multishot pistols (.177) that are anywhere near the 6ft/lbs limit, most of the Umarex pistols are a similar action really and shoot around 2.5/3ft/lbs (measured on my chrono too)

Surely those two statistics tie in with each other? ie, the more powerful the gun the faster the pellet will go.

think about the weight of the bb/pellet.
a light pellet will travel faster than a heavy one.

The usually make around 4.5iirc, they are a lot more accurate than multishots though.

a light pellet suffers from wind easier than a heavy one.
a heavy pellet suffers from drop easier than a light one.
what exactly are you wanting to shoot?
if you are shooting targets just get something 1.77 is you are shooting animals (rats/rabbits/birds) get a 2.2.
