Finally got a new car after doing without one for 3 months Its a 2004 1.8 sri, had a few irmscher extras when baught new - Grill, exhaust, sill protectors and door pins, has just turned to 60k and has a full vauxhall FSH.
Was just wondering if thers anyone on corsasport with one? Also what performance modifications do these take well too?

Indeed I have
Need to upload my new pics But here are some from last weekend when I gave it the first wash since ownership.
Fitted a K&N panel filter today but no driven it further than a few meters since putting it in so can't comment on what it's like. Planning on getting a Vectra C GSi/Diesel air intake pipe as it's shorter than the standard Corsa one and doesn't have all the gay resonator bits on it. I've heard they take well to 2.5" cat-back systems, Piper make one for about £300. They also do a manifold but I can't remember the price on that. Check out Venom Motorsport, it's a great site imo and have ordered from there before.

A gave it a wash and power pollish today after a picked it up this morning, their was a few light scratches but theyve disapeared now ,, Yeah a was thinking about getting a 4-2-1 sportex manifold and race tube but leaving the irmy back box?
Do the air intake pipes make much differnce? Seen a piper fast road cam kit aswell its a bit pricey at £678.50 tho!

For the price of the intake pipe it doesn't really hurt. About £8 RRP. I'm not sure if you need an adapter bit or not which is about £7. See the thread I just posted in Help Zone for info. Because it doesn't have the resonator pipes on it then it should make some extra induction noise

I'm paying £453 tpft on the 1.4 iirc, didn't really look at the price on a 1.8 because they were out of my budget at the time. I expect the 1.8 is deffo worth it though I'd like to upgrade to a 1.7cdti and tune it up a bit tbh though (despite just browsing pistonheads for 306 gti-6's )

They will fit somehow, few people have had the Corsa VXR ones in anyway, not sure about the Astra. Spot on price, especially to knock it down that much.

Good to see some more C owners appearing on here
Craig P also owns a 1.8 and is tinkering with the engine so may be an idea to drop him a PM if he doesn't see this thread soon
