for the price of a mantzel you could get an inlet and exhaust manifold

I bought a flame one, and for the money you cant go wrong, and you would be better off reading his thread as people who have bought and fitted them have put there feedback in there.

i got a first gen one off flame, and yes they dont look very pritty, but you could ether spray the bugger or pollish it, or give it a going over with some fine wet n dry to give it a brushed ally affect.
They do there job, and it does make a sizable differece, you wont get another performance mod for the same money that can give you the extra bhp a power box/manzel can give

its the best value for money mod!
i had one off flame on my 1.4 sport and it made a big different. id imagine it would be much better on a 1.6, expecially if you raised the rev limiter by 1k

You have to cut it in two places. I used a serrated knife. Cut it either side of the inlet manifold and remove it in 3 pieces.
Edit: Also I very highly rate the flame inlet it makes such a huge difference, works even better with a Janspeed 4-2-1 as it helps to pull the power band down the rev range a bit. Would be even better with a 500-1000rpm rev limit increase + ARP conrod bolts.
This is mine, I think it looks OK actually.

Told you before, it is a good mod. As somebody has said you can get that, an exhaust manifold and decat for the price of a mantzel. Thats what i done and got 130bhp. As for looks, nobody sees it anyway.
