Not a movie but; Band of Brothers,
also try Hurt Locker, Inglourious Basterds, Das Boot, The Deer Hunter, Flyboys, Manchurian Candidate or We Were Soldiers.

Some of my faves anyway.

My mate is going to lend me the Band of Brothers box set.

I found that thread where Andy mentioned Downfall the other day. That'll be one I'm getting.

If you like Downfall then get Das Boot after it. (make sure you get the TV series rather than the movie version)

Just as good as Band of Brothers IMO

Who recommended Deer Hunter? What an overhyped waste of my time piece of shit.

Awful movie, I have no idea why it gets such rav reviews. It's boring, slow moving and did I mention boring?

My favs

Downfall
Battle of Britain
Bridge Too Far
Brotherhood (awesome)
Band of Brothers
Tears of the Sun
Black Hawk Down
Cross of Iron
Stalingrad
Platoon
We Were Soliders
When Trumpets Fade
