Her 350Z had to go, we were hardly using it and it was money that we need, just sat there tied up, so after a while of it being advertised privately with no luck, she took it to Nissan, who offered £250 less than what we were after privately, so it's gone to them.

We've spent all weekend looking for a new car, had a look at an MX5 (to use as a working engine to transfer the bits over from my one which I still need to collect from where I left it) but it was an absolute nail.

We then went to look at a Clio 172, which sounded like it'd got a cat caught in the alternator, looked at a 206 GTi 180 as well but she didn't really like either of them.

So, after going from a Golf TDi Anni to a 350Z, it's back to a german car again.

That's not the exact one, as the seller has removed the pics from the ad and we didn't take any

It's a 325Ci M Sport.

Not really what I wanted her to go for, but it's not my money (I wanted an E36 M3 tbh)

But of a step down performance wise, but it's not too bad really.

More pics when we collect it.

Not too bad, parts aren't overly expensive and servicing is reasonable, oil service is about £95, inspection 2 (big service) would be about £220

it's not low mileage, but it's not going to do many miles with us, so it'll balance out.

second hand, an ebay bargain of 300 english pounds, the widths are a measly 8 inches on the front and a mighty 10x18 on the rear, with no arch mods.

I want 9s on the front as they're slightly dished, would probably stop people asking me if my rear wheels were a smaller diameter

4K seems a bit too cheap too me?? Is it due tyres and maybe an inspection 2? Fair play if it's all legit though

I found that a lot of garages dont know how to do the proper inspection 1 and 2 for BMW's. I just last week payed £190 for Inspection 1 - an Inspection 2 worth having done would cost £300 or more. Any less and they'll over look stuff and not do what they are supposed to.

The genuine BMW parts (the only parts I would use) aren't cheap, but dont break the bank, there's a lot on them though. My tyres are £180 each - 225/40/18 front and 255/35/18 on the rear.
